Marie’s 30 years of tax and business advisory experience serving emerging and middle-market companies is a strong asset to Stone Carlie and its clients. As a tax relationship executive, she oversees all aspects of tax engagement and is responsible for the proactive delivery of Stone Carlie’s tax services.

Previously, Marie led a middle-market tax practice for a “Big 4” firm, where she provided consultation on tax-related issues for individuals and business entities in a variety of industries, including life sciences and emerging technology, construction, not-for-profit and real estate.

Marie’s success and influence has been recognized throughout the country; she was the recipient of the 2010 Winning Women “Women Influencing Now” Regional Economic Development Award, the 2009 Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants “Women to Watch” Award and the 2002 Ithaca New York “Women Making History” Award.

Marie holds a B.S. in business administration – accounting from the University of Oregon.
